I added a center channel speaker, and it was partially blocking the remote sensor. This solution works like a charm and has an easy setup. One end points towards the existing IR, and the other end goes where you are going to point the remote to. Simply stick on the transmitting sensor by the receiving sensor on the TV and then the extended sensor for receiving from your remote control put where you would like it, lastly plug in the USB plug into any 5V power block and you’re done.
